Doors open 30 minutes prior the start of the show
You can find ramp access with mobility parking spaces at the front and rear of the building. There are two floors, the ground floor has full access with a lift to level 1 where you can find the bar & theatre.
This play is not suitable for children as it contains acts of violence and drug use.
Some scenes show domestic and sexual abuse that might trigger people who have been exposed to these environments.

She is also a writing coach for The Writers Studio, Chair of Actors Anonymous and an accomplished writer and dramaturg.

Susan is an actor/director who has worked extensively in independent theatre, film and television playing roles from Shakespeare to Sam Shepherd, Recent theatre includes: The Merry Wives of Windsor (Host of the Garter Inn); The Chocolate Roster (Caroline); A Passage to India (Mrs. Moore); Henry 1V, Parts 1 &2 (Mistress Quickly). Television and film credits include Larry & Susan (AFTRS), Where Rosemary Goes (Tom Harwood), Under the Sun (Taste Creative), Deadly Women
Counsellor Cunningham
A graduate of Actors Centre Australia, Barret is an honorary member of the Deadhouse, having completed “Season 3: Razor Wars” last year. A busy bee this year, he is also fresh off the screen from completing short films The Collectress and Blind Bargain. Barret’s other credits include the feature “Babyteeth”, “Bastard” at AFTRS, and Sydney Fringe’s “Hydrarchos”.
Henry
With a variety of theatre experience as well as short and feature films, Sally is excited to be back on stage in The Stoned Ape. She has also directed for Adelaide Fringe, sings with Georges River Voices and writes on the side. Sally is a proud Actors Equity member and is currently studying a bachelor of arts/science.
Mrs Maxwell
Veronica has been diligently preparing for her stage debut in 'The Stoned Ape', having trained in Meisner Technique for four years and learning from esteemed acting coach Lisa Robinson. A Miss Universe Finalist two years running. Her big screen performances have already earned her praise, starring in Ronnie Riskalla's 'Streets of Colour". Other titles include 'KNOT' ', Fuse' ', while we live' 'and ‘proceeds of crime.

He takes playing the bad guy to another level with his uniquely deep voice and dark yet charismatic presence…
Bikie
Fresh from his critically acclaimed performance as Barney for the 2022 production of the classic Australian play "Summer of the Seventeenth Doll." He is honoured to grace the stage once more with a Stoned Ape. His television and film credits involve Home and Away, deadly women, above the law, The Matrix When the War began, Superman returns, Akoni and Sweethurt.

Dark comedy is the most difficult genre to direct. One has to juggle that fine line between playing the comedy or playing the drama without slipping into slapstick or melodrama. This play has been no exception. Ian’s tight comic writing and wonderful cast will make you laugh out loud while gritting your teeth – at times not knowing whether to laugh or cry.
